LD Learning Disability - A disorder in one or more of the basic
psychological processes involved in understanding or using language, spoken or
written, which may manifest itself in an imperfect ability to listen, speak,
read, write, spell, or do mathematical calculations.
LEA -- Abbreviation for Local Education Agency
LRE -- Least Restrictive Environment - The educational setting that permits
a child with disabilities to derive the most educational t while participating
in a regular educational environment to the maximum extent appropriate.
